Part‑time Lecturer in Sport (Hourly Paid)

About the role

This part‑time, hourly‑paid position involves delivering sport‑related modules within the School of Customer Service Industries. You will join a curriculum team focused on student retention, achievement and overall success.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver sport curriculum across a range of levels.
• Provide pastoral support and guidance to students.
• Monitor and improve student achievement and retention rates.
• Maintain high standards of teaching quality and compliance.

Required profile

• UK Honours degree or ENIC‑recognised equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification (or working towards one).
• Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in numeracy and literacy.
• Current industry experience in sport or related discipline.

Required skills

• Demonstrated ability to teach a wide range of levels with high achievement outcomes.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of current industrial practice in sport.
