Part‑time Maintenance Technician – Dorchester

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Dorchester on a part‑time basis. You will work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, supporting residents and ensuring the property is kept in excellent condition.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on move‑in days and support the onsite Maintenance Technician with ad‑hoc tasks, including moving heavy furniture.
• Carry out repair and maintenance duties such as basic plumbing, painting, decorating, and lighting replacement.
• Perform silicone sealing, mastic work, and surface material repairs to a high standard.
• Conduct statutory testing and ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Report incidents promptly to the Operations Manager and follow company safety procedures.

Required profile

• Team‑oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative to resolve issues.
• Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines and attend induction training.
