Part‑time Market Research Interviewer (Dundee)

About the role

Join NatCen, the UK’s leading independent social research organisation, as a part‑time Market Research Interviewer in Dundee. You will visit households, conduct face‑to‑face interviews on topics such as health, housing and transport, and capture real‑life experiences that help shape public policy.

Key responsibilities

• Knock on doors and introduce yourself to residents who have been pre‑notified about the study.
• Use a tablet or laptop to guide structured conversations and record responses accurately.
• Manage your schedule, travel to assigned areas, and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Report any issues or refusals promptly and maintain professional conduct at all times.

Required profile

• Valid UK driving licence with sole use of a car and Class 1 business insurance.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete a DBS check.
• Reliable home broadband and a laptop or tablet with a camera.
• At least 18 hours per week availability and flexibility for weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with tablets or laptops and internet connectivity.

What we offer

• £20‑£30 per interview, plus admin fees, holiday pay and travel reimbursements.
• Average hourly rate of about £15.12, with higher earnings for experienced interviewers.
• Bonus payments after launch and at two‑month intervals.
