Part‑time Merchandiser – POS Placement at Asda

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time merchandiser to place point‑of‑sale (POS) and in‑store media at Asda in Frome. The role involves a few hours each week, typically on Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings, and pays £15.12 per hour including holiday pay.

Key responsibilities

• Sign in at the store, introduce yourself to key store contacts and locate previously delivered POS.
• Place POS in pre‑arranged sections, using a stepladder where required, and photograph/report completion via an online app.
• Liaise with store colleagues to ensure all POS are correctly positioned and maintain coverage.

Required profile

• Available to work the scheduled Wednesday evening/Thursday morning slots each week.
• Own a smartphone (Android or iOS) to report visits through the app.
• Comfortable using a stepladder and handling POS boxes or stock.
• Good communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Proficient with smartphone (Android or iOS) and able to navigate an app‑based reporting system.
• Ability to safely use a stepladder for placing media at height.
