Part‑time Optometrist – Gosport (up to £65k)

About the role

Vision Express is seeking a qualified optometrist to join our Gosport store on a part‑time basis (three days per week). You will work in a fully equipped test room featuring OCT and an Auto Phoropter, delivering accurate eye examinations and personalised recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and provide clear diagnoses.
• Use OCT and Auto Phoropter equipment to assess patients' vision.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience and contribute to store sales targets.
• Collaborate with the team, sharing ideas and supporting colleagues.
• Maintain clinical standards and adhere to GOC regulations.

Required profile

• Qualified and GOC‑registered optometrist.
• Strong clinical expertise with a patient‑focused approach.
• Enthusiastic team player who enjoys contributing to commercial success.
• Passionate about improving people’s lives through eye care.

Required skills

• OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) operation.
• Auto Phoropter usage.
