Part‑time Optometrist – Mold, Wales

About the role

Join Specsavers in Mold as a part‑time Optometrist delivering high‑standard eye examinations and contact lens services. You will work closely with the store team to provide clinical care while contributing to a friendly, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses.
• Provide contact lens fitting and after‑care services.
• Utilise the latest clinical technology, including OCT and Phoropter, across five modern test rooms.
• Collaborate with Optical Assistants and Dispensing Opticians to ensure seamless patient flow.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GOC regulations.

Required profile

• Registered member of the General Optical Council (GOC) and kept up‑to‑date.
• Passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
• Ability to work full weekends as part of a part‑time schedule.
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) equipment.
• Experience using a Phoropter for refraction.
