Part‑Time Payroll Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Payroll Specialist to join a dynamic, flexible organisation. You will manage end‑to‑end payroll for 100‑150 employees across the UK, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payroll for salaried and hourly staff.
• Calculate complex elements such as pensions, statutory sick pay (SSP) and statutory maternity pay (SMP).
• Prepare and submit Real Time Information (RTI) filings to HMRC.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and produce detailed reports for management and auditors.
• Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and implement best‑practice improvements.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, NIC and statutory payments.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
