Part‑time Pharmacist – Lancaster

About the role

As a part‑time pharmacist in our Lancaster store, you will be the frontline health professional delivering NHS and private pharmacy services to a diverse community. You will work within a busy retail environment, ensuring safe dispensing, providing expert advice and supporting the pharmacy team to meet business targets.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medicines and over‑the‑counter products accurately and in compliance with GPhC regulations.
• Provide NHS and private health services, including emergency prescriptions, urgent care and medication reviews.
• Lead and develop the pharmacy team, ensuring high standards of customer service and safety.
• Maintain stock levels, order medicines and manage controlled substances.
• Deliver health‑related advice, support vulnerable customers and promote public health initiatives.

Required profile

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Accredited to deliver national and local NHS services and private healthcare.
• Strong communication and empathy, with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Proven leadership ability in a fast‑paced pharmacy setting.
• Commitment to meeting pharmacy business targets.
