Part‑Time Post Completions Clerk – Residential Conveyancing

About the role

This part‑time position supports a regional law firm’s Residential Conveyancing team in Bath. You will coordinate post‑completion activities for residential property transactions, working closely with fee earners, clients, mortgage lenders and public bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare letters, forms and supporting documentation after completion of residential sales.
• Check completion statements and verify financial calculations across client and office accounts.
• Submit applications and documents to HMRC and HM Land Registry.
• Respond to Land Registry requisitions and resolve registration issues.
• Liaise with mortgage lenders and conveyancing fee earners on redemptions, registrations and other post‑completion enquiries.

Required profile

• Previous administrative experience, preferably within residential conveyancing, property or a professional services environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
• Strong attention to detail while managing a varied, fast‑paced workload.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office packages.
