Part‑time Postperson with Driving – Darlington

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a part‑time Postperson with Driving, delivering mail and parcels across Darlington and surrounding areas. Working 30 hours per week, you’ll be the friendly face that brings essential items to homes and businesses, rain or shine.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver letters, parcels and other items to customers on assigned routes.
• Drive a Royal Mail vehicle safely, adhering to all road regulations.
• Walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Provide courteous, reliable customer service and represent the brand positively.
• Maintain uniform standards and follow health & safety procedures.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent service.
• Enjoy interacting with the community and working outdoors.
• Strong sense of pride in delivering for the local area.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
