About the role
This is a long‑term, part‑time position for a qualified primary teacher to deliver pre‑planned lessons in a supportive Birmingham primary school. The role runs from September 2026 to July 2027, working every Wednesday and Thursday with students from Year 2 to Year 6.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons covering Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time.
- Maintain a positive, engaging learning environment for Year 2‑6 pupils.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Participate in any required training sessions.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Strong knowledge of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curricula.
- Enhanced DBS check (must be on the update service).
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training as needed.
