Part‑time Psychologist – Bridgeway School

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Bridgeway School, an independent specialist day school in Preston. Working three days per week, you will support children and young people with autism, neuro‑developmental needs, trauma, and complex mental‑health challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and formulate individualized intervention plans.
• Provide one‑to‑one and group therapeutic sessions.
• Collaborate with educational and residential staff to embed therapeutic approaches across the school environment.
• Deliver consultation, workshops, and training for teachers and residential carers.
• Maintain accurate case records and contribute to multidisciplinary case reviews.

Required profile

• Qualified psychologist (e.g., BPS‑registered or equivalent).
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND, autism, or trauma.
• Ability to work within a multi‑disciplinary team and communicate effectively with non‑clinical staff.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
