About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join our Early Years team on a part‑time basis from September 2026. You will teach a class of 26 pupils two days a week, working in a job‑share arrangement with a SCITT trainee.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality instruction in phonics and early maths across two scheduled days.
- Collaborate weekly with the reception team during PPA for planning, assessment and enrichment.
- Support children’s transition into school life and contribute to a nurturing EYFS environment.
- Potentially lead Forest School activities on an additional day, if desired.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher who has successfully completed induction.
- Proven experience teaching Reception or EYFS.
- Strong understanding of phonics and early maths curricula.
- Creative, nurturing approach that supports children of all abilities.
