Part‑Time Reception Teacher (Level 3 Practitioner)

About the role
This part‑time position is with an independent nursery and prep school in South West London, starting in September. The role is ideal for a qualified Reception Teacher or an experienced Level 3 Early Years practitioner seeking a flexible schedule and better work‑life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a small Reception class on a part‑time basis.
- Plan and deliver engaging, EYFS‑aligned learning activities.
- Collaborate with morning and afternoon staff to ensure a seamless learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and wellbeing.
Required profile
- Qualified Reception Teacher or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Proven experience leading a Reception class.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Enthusiastic, caring and professional attitude.
Required skills
- EYFS framework knowledge.
What we offer
- Flexible working patterns (e.g., five mornings, two full days, or similar).
- Contract until July 2027 with the possibility of extension.

- Competitive hourly rate between £16 and £26.
