Part‑time Retail Supervisor (Yeovil)

About the role

Farmfoods is seeking a part‑time Retail Supervisor for its Yeovil store. You will work a minimum of 16 hours per week, covering a mix of shifts including weekends, and support the store manager in delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the store manager in leading the team and maintaining efficient shop operations.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and manage deliveries.
• Ensure the shop is safe, clean and tidy, and that routine tasks are completed.
• Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
• Develop and support retail assistants, stepping in for the manager when absent.

Required profile

• Friendly, positive and hard‑working attitude.
• People‑person who builds strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Trustworthy and reliable, able to work independently within a small team.
• Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS or Disclosure Scotland check.
