About the role
We are looking for a compassionate and organised Scheme Manager to lead the Leasehold Scheme for elderly residents in Henley‑in‑Arden. This part‑time role (15 hours per week) focuses on building management, compliance and resident engagement, ensuring a safe and supportive living environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the leasehold scheme for older residents.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, providing leasehold advice and general support.
- Monitor building and grounds condition, raise repair requests and ensure health‑and‑safety compliance, including fire alarm testing.
- Liaise with contractors to maintain high service standards.
- Maintain accurate records of emergency contacts, compliance checks and resident interactions.
Required profile
- Experience in housing, support services or working with older/vulnerable people.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Understanding of health & safety and safeguarding requirements.
- Ability to work independently and build trust with residents.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (required) and occasional travel to Birmingham.
