About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Salford on a part‑time basis. The role involves working three days a week from September 2026, supporting pupils across multiple year groups in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide classroom support to help pupils access the curriculum.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to deliver additional assistance.
- Occasionally lead intervention groups to boost academic progress.
- Collaborate closely with class teachers and support staff to meet pupil needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, engaging learning atmosphere.
Required profile
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
- Confidence supporting pupils across different year groups.
- Positive, flexible and adaptable approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for supporting children and helping them reach their potential.
