Part‑Time Teaching Assistant – Year 3 (Preston)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Part‑Time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Preston (PR4) for the upcoming September 2026 term. The role supports a Year 3 class and follows a set weekly pattern of mornings and full days.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver daily lessons.
• Provide general classroom support and help pupils access learning materials.
• Maintain a positive, engaging learning environment for Year 3 students.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
• Confidence supporting Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.
• Patience, enthusiasm and a commitment to helping children reach their potential.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and build positive relationships.
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent classroom experience.
