Part‑time Temporary Care Assistant – Bransgore

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Care Assistant to work on a temporary, ad‑hoc basis at a dementia care home in Bransgore, Christchurch. The role involves providing personal and medical support to residents during a mix of day and night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care, including washing, dressing and feeding, to residents with dementia.
• Assist with medication administration and monitor health conditions.
• Support daily living activities and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and night duties.

Required profile

• Own transport – the location is not accessible by public bus.
• Enhanced DBS check issued within the last three years.
• Care Certificate (or willing to obtain within one year).
• Previous experience in a similar care‑assistant role.

Required skills

• Ability to follow care plans and health‑safety procedures.
• Effective communication with residents and team members.
