Part‑Time Year 2 Teacher (3 days/week) – St Albans

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in St Albans on a part‑time basis (three days per week). You will deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ wellbeing and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the Year 2 curriculum in line with national standards.
• Create interactive, memorable learning experiences for a diverse class of pupils.
• Maintain strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross‑year initiatives and school events.
• Participate in safeguarding duties and complete an enhanced DBS check.
