Part‑time Year 4 Teacher (Job Share) – Salford

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Year 4 teacher to join a high‑performing primary school in Salford on a part‑time, job‑share basis. The role starts in September 2026 and initially covers Thursdays and Fridays, with the possibility of expanding to 2.5 days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for a mixed‑ability Year 4 class in line with the National Curriculum.
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to support their learning and wellbeing.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners and maximise progress.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as required.
• Collaborate closely with the partner teacher, teaching assistants and wider staff team.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities where appropriate.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience teaching KS2 (Year 4) pupils.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a job‑share arrangement.
• Commitment to inclusive, high‑quality education.
