Passenger Experience Assistant (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Passenger Experience Assistant is the first point of contact for travellers at London Southend Airport. You will help ensure a smooth, friendly and safe journey for every passenger, supporting a range of front‑of‑house activities across the terminal.

Key responsibilities

• Assist passengers with check‑in, baggage handling and boarding procedures.
• Provide mobility support for passengers with reduced mobility.
• Cover duties in food & beverage and retail outlets as needed.
• Support the cleaning team to maintain terminal presentation standards.
• Help passengers navigate surface‑access facilities such as car parks and public transport links.
• Adapt to flexible shift patterns, including early mornings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous customer‑service experience with a focus on high standards.
