PAT Tester – Competitive Salary & Bonus

About the role

We are seeking a qualified PAT Tester to join a fast‑growing compliance specialist covering commercial and industrial contracts. The role is field‑based, covering sites within a 40‑mile radius of Luton and offering a clear pathway towards an Electrical Engineer position.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on a variety of equipment to IEE standards.
• Travel to client sites across Luton, Watford, Northampton, Cambridge and surrounding areas.
• Maintain accurate testing records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Achieve daily testing targets and contribute to the bonus structure.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve client electrical safety.

Required profile

• Proven experience in PAT testing or a related electrical safety role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Qualified to BS 7671 (formerly IEE) standards – 2377 certification preferred.
• Willingness to work independently across a defined geographic patch.

Required skills

• PAT testing to IEE/BS 7671 standards.
• Use of electrical testing equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical safety regulations.
