PAT Tester – Portable Appliance Testing

About the role

Join a respected electrical compliance and testing company with over 40 years of experience. As a PAT Tester you will travel to commercial sites across the Luton and Milton Keynes area, performing portable appliance testing to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Test portable appliances on large commercial sites, typically visiting 1‑2 sites per day.
• Record test results and issue compliance documentation.
• Travel to a third site when required, earning additional bonuses.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure it is calibrated.
• Provide excellent customer service while on‑site.

Required profile

• Residency within the Luton‑Milton Keynes region.
• Valid UK full driving licence.
• Ability to pass a DBS check.
• Strong attention to detail and safety‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• C&G 2377 PAT course certification.
• Experience performing portable appliance testing.

What we offer

• Basic salary of £27,000 with realistic OTE of £38‑£40k.
• Bonus scheme per test after daily targets (15p‑35p per test).
