About the role

Join a leading intellectual property team in London as a Patent Litigation Associate. This newly qualified solicitor position offers immediate exposure to high‑profile UK and UPC patent disputes, working alongside some of the market’s most respected IP litigators.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on complex UK patent litigation and Unified Patent Court (UPC) proceedings.
• Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on high‑value IP disputes.
• Draft court documents, conduct legal research and provide strategic advice.
• Liaise directly with clients, technical experts and external counsel.
• Support all stages of litigation from pre‑action strategy through to trial.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship activities.

Required profile

• Newly qualified UK solicitor (or qualifying shortly).
• Strong academic background with a STEM degree (essential).
• Experience gained in intellectual property disputes during training.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Genuine interest in patent litigation and emerging technologies.
