Pathway Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pathway Manager to lead our accommodation and outreach services for young people aged 16‑25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in North Tyneside. You will guide high‑performing teams, ensure service excellence, and build strong partnerships to help young people achieve independence.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety standards for clients, staff, volunteers and visitors through regular risk assessments and reporting.
• Liaise with Finance, HR, Quality & Compliance, Fundraising, Communications and Business Development to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Recruit, supervise and develop volunteers who support frontline work.
• Set and manage budgets in line with the Executive Director of Finance and Resources, using finance systems and processes.
• Deliver high‑quality support to young people, oversee effective housing management and meet KPI targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with commissioners, stakeholders and delivery partners, including prime contractors.
• Undertake additional duties as required by policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading support services for vulnerable youth.
• Strong background in safeguarding, risk management and compliance.
• Effective decision‑making and people‑leadership abilities.
• Collaborative approach with a passion for achieving outstanding outcomes.
