Patient Care Assistant – Veterinary Clinic

About the role

Veterinary Vision is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join its Penrith branch. This full‑time, onsite role supports the clinical team and ensures a clean, welcoming environment for both patients and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and nurses during consultations and procedures.
• Provide care for hospitalised inpatients, including monitoring and feeding.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic clinic environment at all times.
• Handle reception and administrative duties, such as answering phones and scheduling appointments.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for animal welfare and patient care.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and follow training provided by the clinic.

Required skills

• Experience working with animals in a veterinary setting (preferred but not essential).
