Payroll Administrator

About the role

Brookson is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join its regional Payroll and Billing team in Warrington. You will work alongside experienced payroll professionals to ensure payroll runs accurately, on time and in compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and input employee hours, overtime, bonuses and deductions.
• Process payroll runs and guarantee timely payment.
• Respond to internal and external payroll queries via email with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Support the Payroll Manager with additional accounting and administrative tasks.
• Maintain quality and production standards set by the department.

Required profile

• Previous payroll experience is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.
