Payroll Administrator (Temp) – Gravesend

About the role

Our client in Gravesend is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join the team from mid‑August on a temporary basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The successful candidate will manage the weekly payroll, ensure pension compliance and support colleagues with best‑practice advice.

Key responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll using Moneysoft Payroll Manager.
• Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes.
• Train and support team members on payroll procedures.
• Administer workplace pensions through NEST, handling auto‑enrolment, opt‑ins, opt‑outs and compliance.
• Assist with CIS payments where required.
• Resolve payroll queries and maintain accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in payroll administration.
• Strong knowledge of Moneysoft Payroll Manager.
• Experience with NEST pension administration and understanding of auto‑enrolment legislation.
• Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to train and coach colleagues.
