About the role

The Payroll and Pension Advisor will ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and pension administration for a mid‑sized business services firm in Leeds. You will act as the primary point of contact for payroll and pension queries, supporting both employees and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Administer payroll runs, guaranteeing precision and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Manage pension contributions, advise on scheme options, and maintain up‑to‑date pension records.
• Respond to employee and stakeholder inquiries related to payroll and pensions.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll and pension operations.
• Produce regular payroll and pension reports and perform data analysis as required.
• Monitor statutory changes and ensure organisational policies remain compliant.
• Identify and support process‑improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and pension regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with employees and stakeholders.
