About the role
We are seeking a Payroll Clerk on a temporary three‑month contract to support a busy payroll team in Darlington. The role involves providing administrative assistance, handling payroll documentation and ensuring timely processing.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the payroll team.
- Assist with data entry and maintain employee records.
- Process payroll‑related documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Handle queries and manage the payroll inbox.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and deadlines.
- Perform general office and administrative duties as required.
Required profile
- Previous administrative experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
