Payroll Officer – Hospitality Brands

About the role

This role is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of payroll across a portfolio of hospitality brands. You will own end‑to‑end processing, ensure data integrity and support labour cost control through reliable payroll information.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll end‑to‑end for employees across assigned brands.
• Ensure payroll changes such as salaries, tronc and deductions are accurately reflected and processed on time.
• Prepare payroll inputs, including tronc calculations and supporting schedules.
• Deliver payroll in line with agreed timelines, guaranteeing accurate and timely employee payments.
• Maintain tronc reports, supporting schedules and payroll‑related trackers (staff advances, adjustments).
• Liaise with HR and Operations to verify completeness and accuracy of payroll inputs.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation (PAYE, NI, auto‑enrolment, statutory payments, NMW/NLW updates).
• Support statutory reporting, including P11Ds, HMRC queries and surveys.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in end‑to‑end payroll processing.
• Proven experience running multi‑site payrolls.
• Experience with tronc calculations is essential.
• Background in hospitality payroll is an advantage.
