PCB & Cable Solderer / Assembler (Temporary, Ringwood)

About the role

We are seeking a PCB & Cable Solderer/Assembler to join a specialist engineering company in Ringwood, Hampshire. The role is temporary initially, working Monday‑Friday 9am‑5pm.

Key responsibilities

• Solder components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Solder and terminate wires and cables.
• Assemble electronic and electrical components for control panels.
• Cut, prepare and terminate wires to required specifications.
• Carry out basic cable and wiring assembly using drawings and wiring information.
• Inspect completed work to ensure high quality and report any issues.
• Use hand tools and soldering equipment safely and accurately.
• Support assembly of control panels and other rail‑related equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in PCB soldering and/or cable soldering.
• Good manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to follow drawings, diagrams or work instructions.
• Reliable, positive attitude and ability to work independently or within a small team.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £13.50‑£14.00, dependent on experience.
• Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm schedule.
