PCV Bus Driver – Milton Keynes

About the role

Join Arriva’s Milton Keynes depot as a PCV Bus Driver, delivering essential transport services to commuters, shoppers and schoolchildren. You’ll be the face of the service, building relationships with regular passengers and ensuring safe, reliable journeys across the community.

Key responsibilities

• Operate PCV buses on assigned routes, adhering to timetables and safety regulations.
• Assist passengers with boarding, alighting and enquiries.
• Collect fares and issue tickets where required.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑journey safety checks on the vehicle.
• Report any incidents, delays or mechanical issues to the depot team.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the shift.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Hold a valid PCV licence (or be willing to join the trainee programme).
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Strong people and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shift patterns, including early mornings, afternoons and evenings.
