PCV Bus Driver – Northfleet

About the role

Arriva is seeking a PCV Bus Driver to join its Northfleet depot. You will operate public service vehicles, connecting commuters, shoppers and schoolchildren to their destinations while representing the company in the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Drive assigned bus routes safely and on schedule.
• Assist passengers with boarding, alighting and ticketing.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑journey vehicle checks and report any issues.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and address passenger queries.
• Handle cash, ticket sales and ensure accurate record keeping.
• Work weekends and bank holidays as scheduled, with advance notice.

Required profile

• Valid PCV licence (or willingness to join the trainee programme).
• Minimum 6 months driving experience and over 18 years of age.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Successful drug and alcohol test at assessment.
• Excellent customer service attitude.
