PE Supply Teacher

About the role

Academics is seeking enthusiastic Physical Education (PE) supply teachers to provide flexible, as‑and‑when‑needed cover for secondary schools across Hertfordshire. This role allows you to teach KS3 and KS4 pupils while fitting work around other commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and varying teaching requirements.
• Support extra‑curricular activities when required.
• Build constructive relationships with students and school staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience teaching PE.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple schools.
• Willingness to complete registration and compliance checks.
