PE Teacher

About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic PE Specialists to provide teaching cover across secondary schools in West and East Sussex for the upcoming academic year. The role can suit qualified teachers, experienced coaches, or individuals looking to gain classroom experience before formal teacher training.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality Physical Education lessons on a short‑ or long‑term basis.
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit different schools and student groups.
• Support schools with behaviour management in line with their policies.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to school staff.

Required profile

• Right to work in the UK and a current DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Experience working with students in a school‑like setting (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong, positive behaviour management techniques.
• Good communication skills and confidence to work with new groups daily.
• Flexible, positive attitude; driving licence desirable but not essential.
