PE Teacher

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a qualified Physical Education (PE) Teacher for a secondary school in South Croydon. The role starts in September 2026 on a permanent basis and involves delivering the PE curriculum to students of all abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt activities to support pupils with varying physical abilities and needs.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote whole‑school wellbeing.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and best practice.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Commitment to supporting students of all abilities.
