PE Teacher (QTS) – Secondary Schools

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified Physical Education (PE) teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to support secondary schools across the Midlands. The role involves delivering PE curriculum for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with occasional opportunities at Key Stage 5.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons for mixed, boys’ or girls’ classes.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Contribute to extracurricular sport activities, fixtures and enrichment programmes.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback in line with school policies.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
