PE Teacher – Secondary School (Full‑time)

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join a well‑established secondary school in South Croydon. The role involves delivering high‑quality physical education across Key Stages 3 and 4, combining practical sessions with classroom‑based theory, and supporting the school’s extracurricular sport programme.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging PE lessons that meet curriculum standards.
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Provide constructive feedback and targeted interventions to support student progress.
- Contribute to extracurricular sport activities and wider school life.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils.
- Confidence teaching all‑girls PE groups.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Valid DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
