PE Teacher – Secondary Schools, East Sussex

About the role
Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Physical Education teachers to join secondary schools across East Sussex on a full‑time, long‑term basis. You will work in a supportive environment, delivering engaging PE lessons to students aged 11‑16.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inclusive PE lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Develop lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Monitor, assess and report on student progress.
- Promote a positive, energetic atmosphere that encourages wellbeing and a love of sport.
- Collaborate with colleagues to organise school‑wide physical activities and events.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred; experienced UK‑based PE teachers without QTS are also welcome.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Genuine passion for physical education and student wellbeing.
- Ability to inspire and engage students of varying abilities.
