PE Teacher – Secondary Schools (Full‑time, Temporary)

About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Physical Education teachers to join secondary schools in East Sussex on a full‑time, temporary basis. The positions start as soon as possible and offer the chance to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a supportive school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Develop lesson plans that address the diverse abilities and needs of all students.
• Monitor, assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
• Maintain a positive, energetic atmosphere that promotes wellbeing and a love of sport.
• Collaborate with colleagues to organise school‑wide physical activities and events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, but experienced UK‑based PE teachers without QTS are also welcome.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Genuine passion for physical education and student wellbeing.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities.

• None specified beyond general teaching competencies.
