PE Teacher – Southeast London

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Physical Education (PE) Teacher for a school in Southeast London. The role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced practitioner looking for their next challenge. You will deliver engaging PE lessons and inspire students to reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic PE lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Motivate and support students of varying abilities to achieve personal fitness goals.
• Maintain effective classroom management and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote whole‑school wellbeing initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service – essential.
• Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Positive, proactive approach to teaching and learning.
