Pension Project Manager – DB Pensions (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Pension Project Manager to lead defined benefit (DB) pension projects for medium and large schemes. The role will be based in Edinburgh with flexible hybrid working and offers strong career development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead DB pension projects including GMP equalisation, buy‑in/buy‑out readiness, rectification, mergers and wind‑ups.
• Collaborate with clients, scheme administrators, actuaries and internal project teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Experience in UK defined benefit pensions.
• Proven project and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of GMPe, de‑risking, rectification or related pension initiatives.
• Background in pensions consulting, administration or actuarial projects is desirable.

Required skills

• PRINCE2 certification.
• APM qualification.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
