Pension Project Manager – DB Pensions

About the role

The role leads defined benefit (DB) pension projects for medium and large schemes, working closely with clients, administrators, actuaries and project teams. It offers hybrid flexible working and strong career development opportunities within a growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead DB pension projects including GMP equalisation, buy‑in/buy‑out readiness, rectification, mergers and wind‑ups.
• Coordinate with clients, scheme administrators, actuaries and internal project teams.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with stakeholder expectations and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in UK defined benefit pensions.
• Proven project and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of GMPe, de‑risking, rectification or related pension projects.
• Background in pensions consulting, administration or actuarial projects is desirable.

Required skills

• PRINCE2 certification
• APM qualification
• PMP certification
