Pensions Lead Data Consultant

About the role

This senior consulting position supports pension schemes in tackling complex data challenges. You will combine technical expertise with project leadership to advise trustees, pension managers and other stakeholders on data strategy and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pensions data projects across a diverse portfolio of defined benefit schemes.
• Advise trustees, pension managers and key stakeholders on data strategy, quality and readiness.
• Design and implement solutions to improve data governance and support regulatory change.
• Manage multiple projects from initial scoping through to delivery.
• Collaborate closely with actuaries, administrators and legal advisers.
• Assist clients in preparing for de‑risking transactions and upcoming regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of defined benefit pensions.
• Experience in pensions data, administration or consulting.
• Proven ability to manage projects and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commercially minded and solutions‑focused.
