About the role
We are seeking an experienced People Administrator to join our busy People team on an interim, hourly‑rate contract. The role is based in South West London with a hybrid working pattern (one day per week in the office) and offers an immediate start for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Support recruitment and onboarding, including Right to Work and DBS checks.
- Maintain HRIS data and ensure accurate employee records throughout the lifecycle.
- Process payroll changes, contractual amendments and other employee‑life‑cycle transactions.
- Manage absence, occupational health referrals and family‑leave administration.
- Provide first‑line HR advice to managers and staff, ensuring a smooth employee experience.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an HR or People Administrator.
- Strong organisational ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Availability to start immediately or at short notice.
Required skills
- Experience with HRIS systems and employee‑record maintenance.
- Competence in processing payroll and contractual changes.
- Familiarity with recruitment, onboarding and pre‑employment checks.
