People Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive People Advisor to join a market‑leading business that is rapidly expanding. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will deliver a business‑focused HR service with a strong emphasis on learning and organisational development.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to support business objectives.
• Partner with managers to develop management capability and provide advice on performance management and talent development.
• Coordinate training and development programmes, liaising with internal teams and external learning providers.
• Assist in career development, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives.
• Develop and deliver HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
• Handle employee‑relations matters including absence management, disciplinary, grievance and capability issues.
• Support recruitment processes and contribute to continuous improvement strategies.

Required profile

• Demonstrable generalist HR experience at HR Officer, HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor level.
• Experience working within a generalist People Team with an interest in learning and organisational development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the business.
• Proactive, well‑organised and capable of managing multiple priorities.
