People Business Partner – 4‑Month Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced People Business Partner on a 4‑month contract to support a high‑profile workforce mobilisation programme. You will work remotely across the UK, partnering with senior leaders to design and deliver strategic people initiatives during a period of rapid organisational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to develop workforce and people strategies aligned to programme objectives.
• Lead implementation of initiatives across talent, organisational design, employee relations and change management.
• Provide expert HR guidance and coaching on complex people matters.
• Collaborate with specialist HR teams (Talent Acquisition, Reward, Learning & Development) to ensure successful mobilisation.
• Use people data and insights to identify risks, inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior People Business Partner or Head of HR in a complex organisation.
• Successful delivery of large‑scale organisational change or workforce mobilisation programmes (100+ FTE).
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience designing and implementing strategic workforce and people plans.
• Deep knowledge of employee relations, organisational development and change management.
• Confidence using people data and business insights for strategic decision‑making.
