People & Culture Generalist

About the role

Playtech’s People & Culture team is seeking a proactive Generalist to manage the full employee lifecycle across the UK and Gibraltar, supporting a fast‑growing technology and gaming business.

Key responsibilities

• Administer onboarding, contracts, immigration processes, probation and off‑boarding for all employees.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, handling disciplinary cases, grievances, absence, performance issues and conflict resolution.
• Support performance and talent management by guiding objectives, development plans, probation reviews and preparing documentation for investigations and restructures.
• Maintain employee data, contribute to audits and ensure compliance with UK employment law, GDPR and internal policies.
• Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, DEIB initiatives and cultural events across the UK and Gibraltar.
• Collaborate with the Senior People & Culture Director on strategic projects and continuous improvement of HR practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR/People & Culture Generalist.
• Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations from advice to resolution.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and best HR practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem‑solving skills.
